Irene helps people work through toxic shame, anxiety, and depression (just to name a few) by teaching her students the non-dumbed down science of their bodies. Research, which is thankfully becoming theory, is telling us that trapped and unresolved survival stress, those fight, flight, and freeze response (aka: untreated early and developmental trauma) are the root cause of many, if not all, chronic health issues of the body and mind.
Irene's mission is to teach the world this essential education along with the practices that will give people the tools to become their own medicine so they can break free from dis-ease and get back to living with vitality and freedom. She has two online programs (The 21-Day Nervous System Tune-Up and SmartBody SmartMind) that have reached thousands of people in over 60 countries and her participants unequivocally say this has been the missing link in healing for them. She also teaches in-person workshops that focus on recapturing our sense of curiosity and play via intention-based movement.
You can get to know her a bit more, check out her program, and watch her binge-worthy YouTube videos via her website, IreneLyon.com.
