As a child, Lisa always spent a lot of her time creating things. Painting, crafting, exploring… This naturally led her to the love of food and the kitchen. Mother nature has become one of her biggest creative influences, and after years of travelling & working in a range of kitchens she returned back to school in Vancouver to get her accreditation in the pastry program at The North West Culinary Academy.
Lisa is a true creator, always proud of the steps taken to create. From the creative concept, to sourcing the ingredients and making everything from scratch, her goal is always to create something that conveys the love I have for the craft I have spent my life immersed in.

Lisa pours so much love into her creative work! Part of that is sharing her knowledge and making sure that her work is intertwined with the natural world. Her newsletter does all that and more: gives inspiration, promotes seasonal recipes, and shares goodies for every holiday.
"Connection with the ingredients and the artistic process are my two main loves. I always lead with those front of mind.” Whether you're photographing her or enjoying a slice of her delicious cake—it shows. You can see more about her and her work at www.theflourpot.ca.
